What is Bot Maker?

Bot Maker lets you create your own Discord bot features — commands, games, automations and more — by describing them in plain words. Its AI writes the module, you try it in a simulator, then add it to any server you administer, where MEE6 runs it.

What are credits?

Credits pay for the AI that writes and changes your modules. Each request uses some, depending on how much work it takes: a complete module takes about 170 credits on average, a small change only a few.

When do my credits renew?

A plan's credits are counted over 30 days. The period starts with the first credit you spend, and 30 days later your plan's full credits are back. Credits you don't use don't carry over.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Your modules keep running on your servers. You can't ask the AI for more work until your credits renew — or right away, by moving to Bot Maker Plus.

What counts as one of my servers?

A server where at least one of your modules is running. Bot Maker runs your modules on 1 server, Bot Maker Plus on up to 5, with as many modules on each as you like. A paused module doesn’t count: pause all of yours on a server and it’s free for another one.

Who can add modules to a server?

Members with the Administrator permission on that server — the owner always has it. Bot Masters can see the modules running there, with their code, settings and activity, but can’t build, deploy or configure them. Without a server, anyone can build and try modules in the simulator.

How many modules can I make?

The free plan lets you own 3 modules, the ones you made or remixed; with Bot Maker and Bot Maker Plus, make as many as you like. The library’s examples you add to a server don’t count. If you already have more than 3 without a plan, you keep them all; you just can’t make a new one until you have fewer, or take a plan.

Do I need MEE6 Premium?

No. A Bot Maker plan is yours, not a server's: it works on any server you manage, with or without Premium. Premium doesn't include Bot Maker.

Can I change plans?

Yes, at any time, from this page. Moving to Bot Maker Plus gives you its credits and 5 servers right away.

What happens if I cancel?

Your plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for. After that, nothing is deleted: your modules stay yours, those running on your servers are paused with their settings and data, and you can still share them. They start again when you take a plan back.

I added modules before the plans existed. What happens to them?

They keep running exactly as they are, and they don't count toward any plan.

What payment methods are supported?

Currently, we support only credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. Please note that if your PayPal account is not verified, the transaction might not work.

Can I get an invoice for my payment?

Yes! After subscribing you can see and download all your invoices in your "Billing" tab (located in the dropdown of your profile, in the top right of the page). They should be valid for almost all purposes, including business accounting. If you need any help with an invoice, please contact us.
