FAQ

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Describe what you want in everyday language and MEE6 writes the module for you. This is a no code way to make your own Discord bot features: try them, then ask for changes in the chat.

Is it free?

Browsing the library and trying its modules in the browser sandbox are free, with no login required. With a Discord account, you also get 250 free credits to create or remix up to 3 modules and ask for edits, without a server. Adding modules to a server takes a Bot Maker plan, whose credits renew every 30 days. MEE6 Premium does not include Bot Maker.

Is it safe for my server?

The browser sandbox simulates Discord: trying a module there does not send messages or change anything on your real server. You choose when to add it. Once installed, a module can act with MEE6’s permissions, so review its behavior and settings before adding it. You can pause or remove it from Bot Maker.

Does it work with my other MEE6 plugins?

Yes. Modules run alongside your existing MEE6 plugins. They can use supported features such as Levels XP and Economy coins, so a game can reward members using your server’s existing economy. Available integrations depend on what Bot Maker supports.

Can I change a module after adding it?

Yes. For a module you created, describe the change in its chat, try the updated version and deploy it when you are ready. To customize a library module, remix it into your own copy first. Creating and editing modules use AI credits: your free credits first, then your Bot Maker plan's.

What can’t it do?

Bot Maker works with the Discord actions and MEE6 features it supports. It cannot connect to arbitrary external websites or APIs, play audio in voice channels, or bypass Discord permissions and limits. Creating modules also has usage limits, so start with a focused idea and try it in the sandbox.
