MEE6 Bot Maker

What's New

Notes from the team, new features and fixes. Built with you, throughout the beta.

What we're hearing from you

Games, seasonal events, everyday server tools — you're already putting Bot Maker to work. Thank you for building with us, and for telling us where it gets in your way.

More room to build

We've heard you: reaching your monthly AI allowance halfway through a project, or before you can fix a bug, is frustrating. We're looking at ways to let you keep building.

Each request to create or change a module uses paid AI resources. We're improving efficiency and exploring the right mix of models and usage options to keep Bot Maker useful, accessible and sustainable.

Blocked by your allowance?

During the beta, we can consider temporary allowance increases for active testers who share detailed feedback or reproducible bug reports. These are reviewed case by case, are time-limited, and aren't guaranteed. Tell us what you're building and where you're blocked in Bot Maker Feedback.

A few things we're exploring

These ideas come from your feedback. They're directions we're considering, with no promised scope or release dates. Priorities may change as we learn more.

More flexible AI usage

Options for builders who reach their monthly allowance.

Sharing your creations

Explore ways for others to view, try and remix modules you choose to share.

Richer Discord messages

Components V2 for more flexible message layouts.

Small edits without AI

Simpler ways to change a reply or tweak a detail.

Better-organized settings

Sections and more useful fields for bigger modules.

Room for more modules

Revisiting limits for people building across several servers.

Your feedback is already making a difference

The daily AI limit is gone, you can see your monthly usage, and we've improved how demos stay in sync with your changes. The changelog has the details of what's available now.

Share your modules with a link

Click Share in the editor, or in a module's menu in My modules, to give it a public link. Anyone who opens it can see what your module does and its code, try the demo, deploy it on their server or remix it into a module of their own. Only the version you share is public: your conversations and drafts stay private, and new edits reach the link only when you update the shared version. Servers that installed it keep their version until they review your update. You can stop sharing at any time; existing installations keep running.

Modules follow your server's time zone

New modules now use the time zone set in your server's dashboard settings for daily resets, schedules and dates, instead of adding a time zone setting of their own. Built a module with its own time zone setting? Ask the AI to use the server's time zone instead.

The Giveaway example handles thousands of entrants

Entering a giveaway from the library's Giveaway example no longer fails once several hundred members have joined. Giveaways already running keep their entrants and are drawn as usual.

Start building without picking a server

Describe your module and start building right away, no server to choose first: every Discord account gets a free trial of Bot Maker. You pick a server when you deploy, and your module moves there as it is. Once the trial runs out, building goes on with a Premium server.

Your modules' coins can follow Economy boosts

Modules can now apply the Economy boosts you set in the dashboard: coins earned like with /work or /daily, game wins and lost bets. The library's games and rewards (blackjack, slots, jobs, crates and more) already do; ask the AI to do the same in your own modules. Transfers, shops and refunds stay unboosted.

Uploaded pictures keep their quality

Banners and other pictures you upload now keep their resolution up to 2560 pixels instead of being shrunk to 512, and a very large picture is shrunk only as much as it takes to be posted.

Drafts and paused modules no longer count toward your limits

A module the AI never got to build no longer takes one of your 10 modules; it stays in My modules until you delete it or carry on with it. A module paused on a server no longer takes one of that server's 10 slots, so you can add another; resuming it needs a free slot.

2026-10-13

Buttons in your modules' DMs work again

Buttons and menus in a message your module sent in DMs no longer answer "This message is too old" after the module replied to or edited that message.

2026-10-12

Levels follows the XP your modules give and take

When a module gives or takes XP, it now counts like XP from chatting: a member who levels up gets the level-up announcement and the Levels role reward right away. With "Remove role reward after member loses XP" on, a member who drops below a reward's level loses that role and gets back the one of the level they fell to.

Long requests end with an answer

On big requests, the AI reads your code in fewer steps and always finishes with an answer saying what it did, instead of stopping in the middle of an edit. If it has to pause, it tells you your draft is kept.

Library modules keep working when a member leaves

Voice XP, lotteries, giveaways, Member of the Week and other library modules no longer stop working when a member they were tracking leaves your server, and economy modules pay large amounts in parts instead of losing coins. Added one from the library before today? Ask the AI to make it handle members who leave.

Demos for games of chance

Demos are now played before they are kept, so dice, guessing games and other modules that draw at random get a demo that shows what really happens, without the AI changing your code to make it predictable.

Command restrictions follow renamed commands

If a new version renames a command you had limited to certain roles or channels, the Deploy dialog now asks which command those restrictions should move to, instead of leaving the renamed command open to everyone. The AI also keeps your command names unless you ask it to change them.

The AI tests your module like it will really run

When it tests your module, the AI can now use the right channel, a reaction emoji, pictures, roles being given or removed, and messages from other bots. Modules that only react in one channel or to one role get tested the way they'll actually work on your server.

2026-10-10

Richer messages with Discord's new layouts

Your modules can now post messages built from Discord's Components V2: text sections with a thumbnail or a button beside them, separators, image galleries and colored containers. Ask the AI for a panel, a profile card or a shop, and it lays it out for you.

Forms that ask for more than text

Forms can now include dropdowns, member, role and channel pickers, radio buttons, checkboxes and file uploads. A form can open from a command, a button or a menu, prefilled with earlier answers, so members can edit an application instead of starting over.

Voice channel and forum settings

A setting that asks for a voice channel now lists your voice channels, and one that asks for a forum lists your forums, so voice-time trackers and forum modules can finally be set up. Channel settings that don't ask for a specific kind now offer your voice channels too, alongside text channels and forum posts.

Role panels keep working on busy servers

Members picking or removing their own roles no longer count toward a module's safety limits, so self-role panels and reaction roles don't pause during a rush.

2026-10-08

Your modules can react to other bots

Modules now see messages from other bots, including their replies to slash commands, like DISBOARD's “Bump done!”. Bump reminders and other bot-triggered modules work as expected, and text inside a bot's embeds counts too.

A clearer heads-up before deploying

If a module would take your server past Discord's 100 slash command limit, Bot Maker now explains why before you deploy, so you can free up space first.

2026-10-07

Keep your demo up to date

Changed how your module works? Ask the AI to update the demo to show the new behavior.

More room for your bigger ideas

The AI can now reorganize larger modules as they grow, helping it make room for new features while keeping existing ones.

2026-10-06

Build at your own pace

The daily AI limit is gone. Use your server's monthly allowance whenever inspiration strikes, without waiting for the next day.

See your AI usage at a glance

A new ring next to the chat box shows how much of your monthly allowance you've used. Hover over it to see when it resets.

Try the library without signing in

Anyone can browse the module library and play with the demos. No account needed to explore; sign in when you are ready to build or deploy.

Suggestions to improve your modules

As Bot Maker gets better, you may see suggestions to improve your existing modules. Review the proposed changes and apply them whenever you're ready.

2026-10-04

Choose members, roles and channels from a menu

Your modules can now let people select a member, role or channel directly from a Discord dropdown. For example, a report module can ask who the report is about, then open a form for the details.

Your custom emojis work in reactions

Fixed an issue that stopped modules from reacting with your server's custom emojis, including animated ones.

2026-10-03

Your instructions stick around

Bot Maker now remembers standing instructions for your module, such as “don't send DMs,” across chats. Screenshots are treated as references unless you ask to use them in the module.

Try your module with roles and coins

Give the test member roles and a coin balance in the test panel to check permissions and economy features before going live.

Smoother buttons and menus

Buttons and menus on private replies now work correctly. A command's cooldown also no longer blocks the buttons on the panel it just opened.

2026-10-02

Fewer missed clicks on busy modules

Commands, buttons and forms now wait longer for their turn when a module is busy, making them more reliable during busy moments.
